Humanity. Became. Cursed. Consumed. Obsolete. Forsaken.

Before gods were invented there was just Wonder.

Humanity
created gods in the imagination and baked them in Earth’s rubble.

Humanity became
trillions of neutrinos breeding 8 billion souls with meagre wisdom.

Humanity became cursed
tachyons colliding within a swarming ziggurat.

Humanity became cursed & consumed
by the fear of losing what was never possessed.

Humanity became cursed & consumed, obsolete
supplicants whispering into the ears of the deaf.

Humanity became cursed & consumed, obsolete & forsaken
when Hope itself has become the tormentor.
